The events were amazing, the hostel was very social and clean. I have to give a huge shoutout to Liana, she was insane managing the events with Kane I loved it, its amazing. 10/10 reccomend:)
We were only in town for 24 hours and it was raining but it turned out to be our favorite hostel in Australia so far!! The staff was absolutely amazing—especially Kane who really made the whole experience by organizing the games at the hostel and the night out for everyone! His energy made such a difference at bringing everyone together. There were also free bikes to use which was an easy way to explore the city. Additionally there were a great mix of ages (which I appreciate as someone that is 25). Overall would 100% recommend to anyone stopping in Surfers Paradise!!
Lovely hostel. There are only two downsides I guess, so I will start with them. The lockers are a bit small. And when the bathrooms are cleaned they close the whole particular bathroom area. But that's fine and there are a lot bathrooms. Besides that I found nothing bad in this hostel. Outstanding service (I got breakfast even after arriving after 10 from driving lessons), staff is super friendly, it is very social with organized games and going out together. Free breakfast. A lot bathrooms. 4-dorm bedrooms with enough space even with small lockers. Pool, free surf board and bicycle renting, yoga and stand up paddling lessons. Hot dog, burger and pizza nights. You get everything you need. Budds beach 3 min walk, the sea is around 10 min away. Would always go back! 🙂
Amazing hostel, I recommend to all bagpacker to come to this hostel short or long term, the team and people are amazing and friendly.
The facilities are very clean and the location can not be better, sunset, sunrise, beach, center are 5 min walk.

The best hostel I’ve stayed in whilst travelling the east coast, clean, friendly staff, free food during the week. The events staff were really friendly and accommodating shout out to Kane and Amy who were amazing and gave me the best night out in surfers!
Absolutely fantastic experience! offered access to bikes and surfboards! We were given free breakfast every morning and across three nights free hot dogs, pizza and burgers. The kitchen space were regularly cleaned and the shower spaces were cleaned daily. Events every evening, Can not fault this hostel 5/5

I was quite disappointed by our private room as we paid over $200 a night for it and this hostel has fantastic reviews on hostel world. But it would not let me review it on hostel world, hence why I am on google. The room was tiny with a rickety bed. Not even a mirror or anything. The bathrooms were not the cleanest, I had one of the most disgusting showers of my life one day. The kitchen was disappointing as well, very small. The saving grace for this hostel is the social aspect, it was incredible for that, lots of activities and free food nights as well as cheap happy hour drinks at the bar. It would have been a 5 star if it weren’t for the rooms and the bathrooms. Maybe the dorms are better than the privates.
